Current NFL Season

Last year, Detroit had its first positive record since 2017. This season, expect the Lions to break their six year postseason drought. Detroit has a young core surrounding veteran QB Jared Goff. Amon-Ra St. Brown is one of the best budding receivers in the game. First-rounder Jahmyr Gibbs is an explosive running back, pairing well with David Montgomery. And on defense, Aidan Hutchinson had nearly ten sacks in his rookie season and is expected to improve in 2023. For the first time in a while, the Lions can win their division.

Despite a rough record last year, the Lions showed great improvement, heart, and hustle under first-year head coach Dan Campbell. Detroit lost several heartbreakers but played up in tying the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road and beating the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings at home as part of a 3-3 stretch to finish the season after an 0-10-1 start. The team gave quarterback Jared Goff a new weapon in D.J. Chark, coming over from Jacksonville in free agency to go with Amon-Ra St. Brown, who emerged as a top target late in the season, and running back D’Andre Swift enters his third season with a solid second option in Jamaal Williams. The defense also improved with the signing of safety Tracy Walker and the draft selection of popular Michigan linebacker Aidan Hutchinson with the No. 2-overall pick.

Premium suites at Ford Field take care of all aspects of the gameday experience. Suites for a Lions game can hold between eight and up to 50 people and come in different Detroit-inspired styles and motifs, ranging from the exposed brick of the Hudson Suites to the modern feel of the Gridiron Suites. To go along with luxury views and a dedicated service team, you get all-inclusive food and beverage and even VIP perks like visits from Lions legends during the game.

It’s a new era in Detroit, as longtime quarterback Matthew Stafford was traded to the Rams for Jared Goff and a bunch of first-round draft picks. That should bode well for the Lions’ future, but it’s worth seeing what they will do this year under passionate first-year head coach Dan Campbell. Running back D’Andre Swift is also coming off a solid rookie year, where he ran for 521 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games, along with racking up 357 yards on offense and two more scores. Expect the Lions to be competitive against NFC North rivals along with non-conference games against teams like San Francisco, Baltimore, and Cincinnati, who all feature young quarterbacks. Along with an array of suites and clubs, the Lions take field-level seats at Ford Field to a new level. These are premium, high-back seats that are just feet above the sideline to literally give you the best seat in the house. To get even closer to the action, try the MGM Tunnel Club, which gives you access to the stadium and club three hours’ prior to gametime and get an up-close view of the Lions going to and from the locker room during warmups, before the game, halftime, and after the game.
