To date we have stopped over 6 million plastic bottles from being made & disposed of into landfills. By 2025, they aim to hit 50 million.

Packaging is plastic free and compostable with no chemical coatings. All boxes and labels will degrade in both the landfill or compost bin. You can also recycle them. They’re made in NZ from PEFC-certified paper stock from sustainably sourced forestry. Zero waste for the bars; use them up!

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty. *except skin and body care, makeup, food, underwear, earrings, and custom order items, which can not be returned for change of mind.

Consistently reliable
I have tried several brands of solid shampoo over the last four years and Ethique delivers the most consistent quality. It is easy to use, keeps my hair in good conditions and is plastic free. This particular variety does seem to have helped reduce my dandruff.
The only challenge is keeping the bar dry enough to not dissolve into a puddle of goo. In the shower this can be done by storing the bar out of the way of flowing water and regularly splashing, ideally on a draining rack. The plus side to this problem is the last of the shampoo bar never goes hard like some which become impossible to use the last of the bar.
The challenge I am yet to solve is how to keep this shampoo bar from dissolving into the aforementioned puddle of goo when travelling. As putting it in a sealed tin regularly traps the moisture in.

I really like this
I really like this, I have been using another brand for quite a while now and it was starting to irritate my scalp. I thought I would give this a try. It’s so gentle and nourishing, no more itchy. My hair is slimy smooth.
