Most of us might not realise it, but our eating habits reveal a lot about our personalities. Julia Hormes, a psychologist specialising in food behaviour, believes there is a strict connection between the way weeat and the way weact.
While food cravings might determine what we eat and when it’s our core personality traits that decide for us the kinds of food we like and how we eat them.

"Food-related habits can in fact reveal facets of an individual’s personality and behavioural tendencies," Juliet Boghossian, a Los Angeles-based food expert, told HuffPost.

Are you a slow eater?
If you tend to be a slow eater, you like to be in control of situations and know how to appreciate life, Julia, told HuffPost.
People who eat slowly only sometimes, however, may do so because of low energy or a sad mood.

Are you a fast eater?
The fast eaters, on the other hand, tend to be ambitious and impatient. Fast eaters are usually great multi-taskers too. They also make great partners because of their giving nature.
"The speed at which you eat reveals the speed at which you take on and enjoy life," Boghossian said.
On the downside, eatingtoofast carries with it certainhealth risks, including weight gain.
Are you an adventurer?
If every time you go to a restaurant you try to find the weirdest, most unique dish, then you fall intothis category. People who try new things and are adventurers, usually like totake risksand are not afraid to fail.
According to Boghossian, being an adventurous eater "shows [one's] openness to trying new things outside of [one's] experience/comfort zone."
Are you a picky eater?
It’s very unusual for apicky eater toorder atarestaurant without asking any questions orrequesting toomit oradd some ingredients.
People in this category are very safe intheircomfort zoneand are very afraid totake that extra step that might reveal something they didn’t know about themselves. They only take jobs that they know perfectly well and don’t take any risks, fearing that they might fail.
Are you an isolationist?
The isolationists are the more unusual eating types. They approach the plate methodically, eating one food item in its entirety before moving on to the next.
This type of attribute is interpreted as beingdetail-orientedand those who are like this think everything through very carefully. This is why they are usually very successful at what they do and are praised for being so thorough with their work. However, they should be patient with others who don't follow the same strategy when getting things done.
