Increase Blog Income Fast!
I have been blogging for two years and was beginning to become skeptical of all the claims that you can make real money blogging. But, now I know that it IS possible to make real money blogging and I want to talk to you about how to increase blog income fast!
The reason I was becoming skeptical was because I was doing it all wrong, I just didn’t know it yet. In September of 2016 I only earned $134 from my blog with a conversion rate (how many people that clicked actually bought) of 1.47%, as you can see below.
At that point I decided I was going to give it one last shot, and if I didn’t see an increase it was time for me to move on.
In October, I updated my posts with the techniques I discuss in this article. By December I was making $2,096! I made $1,415 from affiliate marketing, which was a $1,281 increase from 3 months before. I also earned money from my e-books and ads, which brought me to just over $2,000 earned in December!
Now let’s talk about how to increase blog income fast…
Best Blogging Courses
One thing I learned is that if you want to increase your blog income fast, you have to invest in your business.
Why? Because you don’t know what you don’t know! And if you’re reading this now, you probably don’t know how to increase your blog income fast ;).
The thing is, you have to invest in the right things. Because, let me tell you, I’ve invested in to things that had 0 return and still regret it till this day. I spent over $400 on one class that got me nowhere, womp womp.
But, I’m happy to say that I have found the best blogging course for people who want to make money blogging- the Pajama Affiliate course, of course!
The thing with these courses is that they don’t just teach you how to blog, they teach you how to blog in a way that makes money and makes money fast.
At first I didn’t want to invest because I had already lost so much money with other courses. But, I decided to give it a try and I ended up making thatmoney back right away!
Because I made back more than my initial investment, I decided to invest in even more of their courses and that’s when I saw the real money come in.
So, my recommendation is to invest in the how to make money blogging course from the beginning because 1) it saves you money and 2) you’ll hit the ground running and make that money back quickly.
I’m going to discuss some of what I’ve learned that helped me increase my blog income below, but the classes go in to WAY more detail than I ever could.
Using keywords for search engines
Before I took the PJA course I mentioned above, I had no idea what keywords were.
Now that I know what they are, I can’t believe I went nearly 2 years of blogging without knowing. Furthermore, I can’t believe that the classes ande-books I spent money on didn’t even bother to mention them- they’re that important.
If you don’t know either, keywords are what people type in to the google search bar to find whatever it is they’re looking for. Then google lists all of the articles and blog posts that relate to that keyword.
But, the better your post is optimized for this, the more chances you will be on page one of the Google search. And, be honest, how many times do you go past page 1 when researching anything? Yeah, me neither- that’s why you want to be on page 1.
In order to do that, you need to do keyword research with a tool like Jaaxy. This is crucial if you want to rank in Google and have your blog found.
As you can see below, after doing proper keyword research with Jaaxy, my posts started landing on the first page of Google and even the first spot. When this happens, people who are ready to buy land on your blog and purchase what you’re selling.
When you do this correctly, you can even rank on the first page with the big guys in your niche. I would never haveeven considered these big names competitors, but here I am right in between them!

Why Use a Call to Action
Once you’re ranking in Google, you will need a call to action on your page. If you don’t have one, the page viewwont convert to a sale as easily.
A call to action is something simple like a “buy now” button that lets the reader know they can buy the product right away. If that’s not there, they wont know it’s an option and wont buy anything.
The picture below is of a blog post that converts, you can see the call to action towards the bottom of the picture.

Can you see the difference?? There’s no call to action, so what are they going to buy? How am I going to make any money? … I’m not!
So do yourself a favor and have a call to action on every post if you want to make money.
Using Social Media for Website Traffic
Another important factor in earning money through your blog is having social share buttons to drive traffic to your website. The more traffic you have, the more chances you have of making sales when your postsare setup correctly.
Social share buttons are the buttons on a blog post that allow readers to easily share your post on social media. And, of course, the more your post is shared the more chances you’ll get a sale.
The post pictured above was just posted 9 days ago and already has 775 shares. That’s because it’s easy for readers to share once they land on the page.
Without social share buttons, the chances of your post being shared drops drastically because it’s too hard for the reader to do.
That’s it!
Those are the things I did to increase my blog income from $134 to $2,096 in just 3 months!
The best advice I can give you is to invest in your business so that you can start to see a large increase in sales.
If you’re not willing to invest asmall amount (especially compared to a physical business) you are going to run in circles and get very frustrated trying to figure out what to do.
