Communication and interaction with customers have always played an important role in a brand’s success. While brands are known for creating value for customers over time, the reverse has been the case as most brands strive for profitability which is also a core for the survival of any given business.
Gone are the days when brands compete for eyeballs and market share in any industry where brands are known for placing their best foot forward in winning customers over. Coming over to the Consumer Electronics industry in Nigeria, there has been a massive drift from quality and value to price being a significant determinant by customers. No thanks to the current economic hardship witnessed in the global market driving the cost of goods and services upwards. Despite, the current situation,
LG Electronics, a brand known for delivering cutting-edge technology products to its teeming consumers worldwide, was once again recognized as one of the very few brands known for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Thanks to the independent Agency that carried out a survey across 12 major cities in Nigeria in various categories of “Most trusted brands”. The event which took place a few days back reaffirmed LG Electronics Nigeria to be the most trusted brand in Consumer Electronics Category.
With the current influx of Chinese brands in various markets aimed at providing cheaper products, consumers must not fail to remember that quality cannot be compromised irrespective of whatever good or service they are to receive. As mentioned earlier, trust is earned over time and cannot be gotten overnight but through hard work and customer value creation. Thanks to consumers once again for reaffirming confidence and sustaining LG’s market leadership as the brand would stop at nothing to ensure that it remains resolute in focusing on consumer needs thereby reaffirming its slogan “Life’s Good”.
