Hockey

Where To Sit At The Staples Center

The Staples Center’s capacity for Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers home games are 19,079 people. The capacity for Los Angeles Kings home games is 18,118. When looking at the Staples Center seating chart, keep in mind that the courtside seats and seats immediately behind each basket are removed for Los Angeles Kings home games. The Staples Center is a relatively easy arena to navigate with only a few core seating areas including the lower level, 200 level, premier seats (200 level), and upper level. We'll begin by discussing the lower level seats.

Lower Level (100 Level)

The lower level seats at the Staples Center consist of sections 101 through 119. The number of rows for the lower level sections will vary. The lettered rows are located closest to the court and ice, and come before the numbered rows in sequence. The sections behind each basket are the sections with the most lettered rows. Rows 17 through 20 will be the last row in most lower level sections.

For Los Angeles Lakers home games, the Los Angeles Lakers’ bench is located in front of section 119. The visiting team’s bench is located in front of section 102. The Los Angeles Lakers’ player tunnel is located adjacent to section 117. The visiting team’s tunnel at the Staples Center is located adjacent to sections 104 and 105.

For Los Angeles Clippers home games, the Los Angeles Clippers’ bench is located in front of section 119. The visiting team’s bench is located in front of section 102. The Los Angeles Clippers’ player tunnel is located adjacent to section 117. The visiting team’s tunnel at the Staples Center is located adjacent to sections 104 and 105.

For Los Angeles Kings home games, the Los Angeles Kings’ bench is located in front of sections 101 and 102. The visiting team’s bench is located in front of sections 101 and 119. The penalty box is located in front of section 111. The Los Angeles Kings shoot twice on the net in front of sections 115 and 116. The visiting team shoots twice on the net in front of sections 106 and 107.

Courtside Seats (Los Angeles Lakers & Clippers)

The courtside seats at the Staples Center are seen as legendary, thanks in part to actor Jack Nicholson, a long-time Lakers season ticket holder. In fact, you won’t find the courtside seats designated on most Staples Center seating charts. Fans can sometimes purchase courtside seats on secondary ticket websites like Stubhub. On average, a courtside seat will be priced at$1000-$5000 per ticket. The courtside seats on the sidelines will have one row of seats; row A. The courtside seats next to the basket will have two rows of seats; rows A and B.

The Staples Center offers 8 “star courtside seats” for Los Angeles Clippers home games. These seats are located in between the Los Angeles Clippers bench and the visiting team’s bench. Season tickets for the star courtside seats for the 2017-2018 NBA season were priced at $175,000 per ticket or just over $4,000 per ticket per game.The perks for the courtside seats at the Staples Center include the following.

The rows for the 200 level sections are numbered 1 through 12.Tickets for these sections are an excellent option for fans that don’t want to spend a ton of money on the lower level tickets but also don’t want to sit on the upper level. There are no special amenities that accompany these sections.

Premier Seats

The premier seats at the Staples Center consist of sections PR1 through PR9, and sections PR10 through PR18. The rows for the premier seats will be numbered either 1 through 10 or 1 through 12.The premier sections will have between 9 and 12 seats per row. The perks provided to guests seated in the premier seats include the following.

  • Access to the San Manuel Club
  • In-seat waiter service
  • 1 preferred parking pass for Lot C for every four seats (season ticket holders)
  • Private VIP entrance into the Staples Center

The premier tables and lounges are an exclusive premium seating area located within the San Manuel Club. Guests seated in the premier tables and lounges will receive the following perks.

  • One parking pass for Lot W
  • Personal television provided at each table and lounge
  • VIP entrance into the Staples Center

Upper Level (300 Level)

The upper level seats at the Staples Center consist of sections 301 through 334. The number of rows for the upper level sections will greatly vary, but will begin with row 1, and go no higher than row 15.

The Staples Center’s upper level offers the most affordable tickets for Lakers, Clippers, and Kings home games. However, due to the Staples Center’s stage lighting approach, the upper level is left very dim and doesn't provide much light.

Luxury Suites

The Staples Center's luxury suites can be leased for individual games, partial season, or for an entire season. The perks for the luxury suites at the Staples Center include the following.

  • 2 preferred parking passes for guests
  • Access to a furnished suite equipped with flat-screen HD televisions
  • Tickets for between 12 and 108 guests
  • Assigned suite attendant
  • Private bar
  • Various catered food and beverage packages (food prepared by Levy Restaurants)

The Centurion Suite

The Centurion Suite is an exclusive suite (located on suite level B) accessible by Platinum and Centurion members and up to three guests. The Centurion Suites provides guests with the following perks.

  • Access to a full service bar equipped with flat-screen HD televisions
  • Bar top and lounge seating available on a first come, first serve basis
  • Pub food available to order

The Centurion Suite opens 90 minutes before each Lakers, Clippers, and Kings home game. The area closes at the conclusion of each game.

The Lexus Club is a private members-only restaurant located inside the Staples Center. The Lexus Club features an outdoor patio with beautiful views of the adjacent L.A. Live neighborhood.

San Manuel Club
