A Traveler is a person who has developed the ability to travel to parallel universes and can also see through the memories of their alternate selves, though how these abilities come about is currently unknown. According to Abendsen, it's only possible for someone to do this if their counterpart either doesn't exist or is deceased in that specific timeline.

Details

The ability totravelmay be obtainedafter years of meditation practice. In the case of Fatima Hassan, traveling occurs after a rush of fear-based adrenaline followed by a brief burst of deep alpha-wave meditation. Juliana Crain is the only traveler with an additional ability tosee through the memories of her alternate selves after seeing or touching specific objects or persons.

Rules of the Multiverse

Rule #1 - Travel by Meditation

The ability to travel may be obtained after years of meditation practice.

Rule #2 - Travel by Machine

It's possible to travel through a quantum portal device that replicates the means by which travelers cross between worlds.

Rule #3 - No Duplicates

It's only possible for someone to travel to a multiverse if their counterpart either doesn't exist or is deceased.

Rule #4 - Dimensional Sickness

A traveler can risk serious illness if they stay too long in a timeline in which they previously existed.

Rule #5 - Shared Memories

A traveler can see through the memories of their alternate selves, though how these abilities come about is currently unknown. As far as we know, only one person can fully experience this...
